About Me
I believe that success is defined by the obstacles a person has overcome rather than their position in life.
I am a native of Memphis, TN, and graduate of Whitehaven High. I am an alumnus of Middle TN State University. There I received my Bachelor of Science with a degree in Business Education in December 2006. I received my Teacher Licensure in June 2007 for Business Technology for grades 7-12. I have been teaching at American Way Middle since Fall 2007.
My philosophy of teaching is that I am here to serve the student. I place the student as my top priority. My class will be used as tool to ensure life long success by instilling 21st century skills such as creative thinking, collaborating, and verbal/typed communication.
