Welcome
Welcome to another year at American Way Middle, “Home of Champions.” I am excited about this school year. Last year we made AYP again. We are continuing to better our students education and our professional development so that we can better serve the community.
I will be teaching Computer Technology and Business Keyboarding. The students will be learning typing skills,document formatting and editing, proper use of the Internet, and Microsoft Office 2007. Along with document and picture formatting and other computer literacy sessions, I will be introducing Voice Recognition for the 7th and 8th grade classess. This will promote their verbal communication and reading ability.
